The controller of the split type electromagnetic flowmeter should be installed vertically, and the two-phase flow should move from top to bottom to consider the mixing of solid and liquid phases. The reason is that liquid substances (such as fine sand, crushed stone particles, etc.) in the material are prone to settling. The air pressure caused the liner to detach from the alloy conduit, resulting in electrical leakage.

Add an air pressure avoidance valve around the split type electromagnetic flowmeter, open the gate valve to connect to atmospheric pressure to avoid causing air pressure inside the controller. When there is a vertical pipeline connected upstream of the separated electromagnetic flowmeter and the residual amount is cancelled or adjusted using the upper and lower gate valves of the flow sensor, the controller measures the negative pressure generated outside the pipeline. To prevent air pressure, it is necessary to add back pressure or use upstream gate valves to adjust and close the margin.

The split type electromagnetic flowmeter has appropriate protection space, and large-scale flowmeters are installed in meter wells. In order to facilitate piping engineering, wiring, and regular inspection and protection, it is necessary to confirm the appropriate space. For the convenience of observation, wiring, and protection, the installation of the meter should have the required height to width ratio from the road surface, making it easy to clean and install.
